The Met’s website – 82nd & Fifth – is an online film project whereby one hundred of their curators will each discuss a work of art from the Met’s collection that changed the way they see the world. The site’s ambition is to “link historical art and culture to a broader conversation”. Each two-minute video is tagged to a number of broad themes. Those of interest to religion and museums include:
They have so far produced 38 episodes and will produce two more per week until the target is reached. Could make useful teaching aids for those in education/academia.
